Holiday Lyrics :
Get your passport and your bikini You need a holiday, come see me I know you're tired of the same old scenery And I could change all that so easily Don't worry about a thing girl, take a chance I'll take you to the South of France, like Cannes If anyone can I can Or we can go shopping in Milan I just hope you understand I hope you see it clear It really don't matter how far or near Cus there's no distance that can stop my persistence It's just a few days in the year Plus I've got clout so let's ride out We ain't gotta fly, we can just drive out We can have a rave or we can hide out I won't tell nobody let them find out If you ain't doing nothing let's fly away Drive away, get away We can go to the club or hide away We can do what you want to, baby If you ain't doing nothing let's fly away Drive away, take a holiday We can go to the club or hide away We can do what you want to, baby Don't watch my passport photo, I know I look a bit loco And I know that my Spanish is so-so But let's try keep that on the low-low Cus we're going Ibiza I've got friends that really wanna meet ya With champagne and a whole lot of love It's all good darling in the Blue Marlin Ibiza And I'll never let your belly get empty Even when your belly's full you're still sexy We can ride speed boats, we can ride jet skis I'll show you the time of your life if you let me I just want to put a smile on your pretty face...
The brand new video for the self-titled first single from the Europop trio Cascada's brilliant new album 'Evacuate The Dancefloor'...
Evacuate The Dancefloor marks a fresh start for one of the world's most successful Dance acts, and looks likely to dominate the airwaves throughout the rest of the year.
Cascada found international fame with their huge, debut hit 'Everytime We Touch'.
A smash in the States before the band had even toured there, the song quickly caught on across the globe.
Watch the Everlies sing their hits 'Wake up little Susie' and 'Should we tell him' in 1958.
This was written by the husband and wife team of Felice and Boudleaux Bryant, who wrote most of The Everly Brothers songs in the '50s. Their songs were also recorded by Bob Dylan, Elvis, and Buddy Holly.
This is about a young couple who fall asleep at the drive-in, realize they are out past curfew, and make up a story to tell Susie's parents.
Some Boston radio stations banned this because of the lyrics. At the time, staying out late with a girl was a little controversial.
For The Everly Brothers, this was the first of 4 US #1 hits. It also went to #1 on the Country & Western charts.
At an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show while campaigning for President in year 2000, George W. Bush was asked by Oprah what his favorite song was. He said: "Wake Up Little Susie - by Buddy Holly."
Simon and Garfunkel played this at their 1981 concert in Central Park. The live recording was released as a single the next year and hit #27 in the US.
Chet Atkins played guitar on this. Atkins, who died of cancer in 2001, was a Nashville musician who created a distinctive sound using a 3-fingered picking technique.
GAGA is a performance artist, and a lot of people don't get that - they take an artist literally when there are several different levels that artist is operating on.
It's different and not mainstream, but then again David Bowie's act wasn't mainstream back when he was doing glam rock - he brought it into the mainstream - much like what she's doing. "Starstruck" is a very radio-friendly little tune.
Three brothers (and one cousin) formed 'Kings of Leon'.
The young band established in Europe and they began to build a following in their homeland after securing support slots on tours with U2 and The Strokes.
This album proved to be the band's biggest release, debuting at number 25 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and this week No. 1 in the BBC chart in the U.K.
The Saturdays new hit is very hot in UK. Their voices are weak and this song is nothing special. They don't even deserve to be in the top ten in the BBC chart. I think you might as well get anyone off the streets these days. Those girls are just poor singers. The same goes for girls aloud. Is this the best talent that we have to offer? Well I'm not impressed.
She apparently gets a lot of help from Brian Higgins and Miranda Cooper, the guys who wrote all the Girls Aloud songs, some Suga Babes stuff, and Believe by Cher amoungst other things.
Not to take anything away from GC though, that voice is incredible, I'm sure songs that are all her own maybe just aren't so radio-friendly (by no means a criticism).
She reminds me alittle of Amy Winehouse... what do you think ??
Omg! I love McFly and their music! I have almost every single one of their albums I absolutly love thier music and them! This is just another amazing song under their belt!
They got married a few years back and divorced earlier this year.
I guess the song shows that , in reality, they're still friends...
