Eric Clapton - Tears In Heaven

" Would you know my name If I saw you in heaven

Will it be the same If I saw you in heaven

I must be strong, and carry on

Cause I know I don't belong Here in heaven "

This lyrics was written by Eric Clapton after his son's Conor Death at the age of 4.5 years old.

Conor fell from a New York apartment building because his nanny had left the window open.

The song is very touchy and sad.

Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory ?

Linkin Park was originally called "Hybrid Theory" but when they found out that there's already a band called "Hybrid" so they didn't want to go through legal stuff, so they changed their name to Linkin Park.

First album "Hybrid Theory" was a succes.

Thier "new" album's called "Meteora".

Personally, Linkin Park's one of my favourite bands. They have pretty decent music and good music video clips.

David Bowie & Mick's Jagger Hair

Back In 1963, David Bowie saw the Rolling Stones open for Little Richard .

He recalled that show and someone heard him say:

"The Stones were so funny. They had, like, only four fans at that time who rushed down the aisles to the front. These four chicks in the front there.. It was so funny..

"And some guy - I'll never forget this - some guy in the audience looked at Mick Jagger and said :
'Get your hair cut!'…

And Mick shouted back:

'What, and look like you?'

It was so funny! We just collapsed in our seats!"

His songs really takes me far away with memories...

Especially His first album - No Parlez with the songs :

  • Wherever I Lay My Hat (That's My Home)

  • Come Back And Stay

  • Love Of The Common People

His lyrics were so soft and touching.

In our days he released his last album at september 2006.

Ebony and Ivory - Music Unites Colors

At the 80's ex-Beatle Sir Paul McCartney sang 2 duets with his
fellow musical superstars , Michael Jackson & Stevie Wonder.

''Say Say Say,'' his duet with Michael Jackson ,
got the benefit of better song, slightly more nonsensical and a funny video.

The other duet ''Ebony & Ivory''with Stevie Wonder was extraordinery touching along with the performance of the two Oracles of music.
Whoever directed that music video dressed them with black and white clothes and it was nice to see them like that.

MusicBlog wishes us all to live "side by side on the piano keyboard"...

The best Album that was ever made !!

It was a new and refreshing sound and very interesting .
Especially the tracks A Day In A Life and Good Morning.

U2 - An Intelligence Aircraft ???

Did you know that ???

The post is, of course, about the legendery band U2.

Not very much knows that the leader of U2 Bono (Paul David Hewson) has really originally auditioned as a guitarist but couldn't play. He auditioned as lead vocals, but really couldn't sing.

As the years went by, the band finally set up as U2 her members were :

  • Bono (Paul David Hewson) on vocals, and occasional rhythm guitar and harmonica

  • The Edge (David Howell Evans) on lead guitar, keyboards and backup vocals

  • Larry Mullen Jr. on drums and percussion.

  • Adam Clayton on bass.

They came to perform in Israel in the 90's...

We were there !

It was great !!!
