Good Vibrations

The song Good vibrations from tour in 1976 including birthday party of brian with paul and linda Mccartney ...

I love this video, especially the part that shows Brian's birthday party in June,1976 with Paul McCartney and his daughter, Dennis and his third wife Karen ,Carl and his wife, Annie, and Carl's two sons.

Listen to the beautiful harmony when :
Carl - verses + "Gotta keep this lovin' good vibrations are happening with her" 1st time
Mike - "I'm pickin up good vibrations, she's givin' me exaltations" + "I don't know where but she sends me there"
Brian - "Good, good, good, good vibrations" + "Gotta keep this lovin' good vibrations are happening with her" 2nd and 3rd time

My Sweet Lord

Actually George Harrison was a man of great interest in Buddhism and Hare Krishna.

He brought the Sitar to rock and roll.

Tabla's and other Indian instruments.

And, if you hear the first words he said they are Hare Krishna.

I respect George Harrison no matter what.

I've got blisters on my fingers !

Nothing like Paul's voice from the '68 album.

However....back to the Sixties Paul has that incredible voice, but more impressive I don't understand how he can still shout like that at more than 60!

This version of the song is better than any cover from other bands (U2 or whatever).

And better than other versions from himself as well.

The original recording of 'Oh My Love' - Lennon and Harrison

John and George At Ascott studio in June 1971 recording the song Oh My Love for the Imagine album.

Their German friend Klaus Voormann plays bass and the late Nicky Hopkins is on second piano.

How annoying is yoko ono?

Imagine being the other musicians and being told what and what not to play by her?

She's even giving George instructions.

Fair enough if John wanted her there but she should have just sat out of the way and let them get on with it.

The Piano Man at the Shea stadium for the last time

Love this magnificent artist - The Piano man - Billy Joel.

I was at his last live show in the Shea Stadium ...

Itt was an amazing show!

I go to a lot of concerts and this was by far the best I have ever seen.

The sound was amazing and his voice was excellent.
I was blown away how good he sounded live.
What a great sing-a-long concert.

Piano man, Scenes from Italian restaurtant, Just the Way you are, Innocent Man, Zanzibar, You May be Right.

Only the Good Die Young, Captain Jack, Angry Young Man, Always a Woman, NY State of MInd, Lullabye(Goodnight my Angel), Goodnight Saigon, River of Dreams, We Didn't Start the Fire, Allentown, Downeastser Alexa, Movin' Out, My Life, Big Man on Mulberry Street .....It goes on and on!

Special Guests :

Tony Bennet sang duet for New York Stage of Mind.

Don Henley sang Boys of Summer.

John Mellencamp sang Pink Houses, and John Mayer came out and played guitar for This is the Time to Remember.

He also did five or so Beatles covers since they were the first ever to play at Shea.

My throat hurts for screaming and singing and I am sore from all the dancing.

AMAZING SHOW!!!

On the way out of the stadium you heard everyone talking about how amazing it was.
