Alive and Kicking

This nice one from Simple Minds takes me back to a good time , when music was pure

I was just entering high school at the time that one was a smashing hit.

At first it sounds to me like U2 song - yet it is great Simple Minds.

What you gonna do when things go wrong?

What you gonna do when it all cracks up?

What you gonna do when the Love burns down?

What you gonna do when the flames go up?

Who is gonna come and turn the tide?

What's it gonna take to make a dream survive?

Who's got the touch to calm the storm inside?

Who's gonna save you?

"If you don't know me by now, you will never know me...", what do you think about it?.

Dancing in the Streets

Real masterpiece.

The original track is by Martha and the Vandellas.

Back in the 80's Mick Jagger & David Bowie renewd it - to be No. 1 hit of 1986.

This happy, groovy song really took me high those days...

Nice to remember.

Waka Waka - This Time for Africa

Shakira said that she took the chorus from a Cameroon song .

Shakira wrote the verses and added the waka waka chorus which was a popular song in Colombia in the 80's , where she grew upfrom being a kid .

She said that since she was a child she wanted to sing that chorus and found the opportunity to do it in the World cup games.

We No Speak Americano

This new refreshing new hit as nice beat, nice vocals, very catchy and refreshing.

It is a perfect summer song...

Based on Renato Carosone old song "Tu vuò fà l'americano" from the mid 50's...

Here are the lyrics of the original song :

Betty Davis eyes

Ruth Elizabeth - Bette Davis.

Love this actress...

She allways played unsympathetic characters...

Davis wanted to play Scarlett O'Harra in Gone with the wind , but the cast took Vivian Leigh because the audience loved her...

Put on the red light !

The Police really knew how to write good music.

Gordon "STing" Sumner is a deeply spiritual, sensitive, talented artist.

Amazing poet/lyricist. It's fun to hear new versions of these tunes

This is very loving and generous of them all.

At a time when the world needs more joy.

Drake - New genious ...

Drake , 22-year old musical genius .

His new track, "Find Your Love," is dripping double-drum beats, 80's filtered vocals and a catchy little chorus that's destined to be stuck in my head all day.

No. 6 in US Chart...
