John Hughes - R.I.P


The Breakfast Club is a 1985 teen film widely considered a definitive work in the genre.

Written and directed by John Hughes who died today , The Breakfast Club storyline follows five teenagers as they spend a Saturday in detention together and come to realize that they are all deeper than their respective stereotypes.

Film writer and director John Hughes, who was behind some of the biggest hits of the 80s and 90s, has died.

For two decades the 59-year-old captured the teen market with blockbuster hits such as Home Alone, The Breakfast Club and the cult classic Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

He died yesterday of a heart attack during a morning walk in Manhattan.

Barry White - Great Artist !

I am grateful to Alley McBeal for introducing the incredible music of Barry White to me.

The name has always been familiar to me, but I'm not quite old enough to have been properly exposed to his music.

After watching my favorite character John Cage psych himself up with Barry White music each week on television, I knew I heard this one You're the First, the Last, My Everything.
