Ebony and Ivory - Music Unites Colors

At the 80's ex-Beatle Sir Paul McCartney sang 2 duets with his
fellow musical superstars , Michael Jackson & Stevie Wonder.

''Say Say Say,'' his duet with Michael Jackson ,
got the benefit of better song, slightly more nonsensical and a funny video.

The other duet ''Ebony & Ivory''with Stevie Wonder was extraordinery touching along with the performance of the two Oracles of music.
Whoever directed that music video dressed them with black and white clothes and it was nice to see them like that.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - The Beatles

The best Album that was ever made !!

I remember recording it on a tape and listen to the new music ...

It was a new and refreshing sound and very interesting .
Especially the tracks A Day In A Life and Good Morning.

Too bad they never came to Israel ...

U2 - An Intelligence Aircraft ???

Did you know that ???

The post is, of course, about the legendery band U2.

Not very much knows that the leader of U2 Bono (Paul David Hewson) has really originally auditioned as a guitarist but couldn't play. He auditioned as lead vocals, but really couldn't sing.

As the years went by, the band finally set up as U2 her members were :

  • Bono (Paul David Hewson) on vocals, and occasional rhythm guitar and harmonica

  • The Edge (David Howell Evans) on lead guitar, keyboards and backup vocals

  • Larry Mullen Jr. on drums and percussion.

  • Adam Clayton on bass.

They came to perform in Israel in the 90's...

We were there !

It was great !!!

Queen - Pop Royalty !

Queen was Britain's most successful band of the past three decades.

The band's name "Queen" was given to it by the leader of the the band ,

Freddie Mercury who said:

"I thought up the name Queen. It's just a name, but it's very regal obviously, and it sounds splendid. It's a strong name, very universal and immediate. It had a lot of visual potential and was open to all sorts of interpretations".

The band was very popular and succesfull in Europe , USA , and Asia.

at the year 1991 Freddie Mercury died at the age of forty-five from AIDS.
