Don't stop the dance

I'm a long time Roxy and Ferry fan.
He is a rock and classical singer.
He's very good at what he does within those genres.
David Sanborn played the Sax on the original studio version.

Illusion all over the years !

First Glee star released a great solo album.

Personally, I don't love the video, but I've heard this song, and a lot of others online, and I think he's got a great voice and the overall sound of his music is pretty unique.

dont you think that he looks like a young Robbie Williams ??

I loved the end!!! cool song!!!

Puttin' on the Ritz

This one is my favorite music videos of the 1980's because back in 1983 when this song was released, there were so many other great songs made.

Although this was a big hit for Taco, it brought in a new age of music in the 50's.

Der Kommissar - Don't turn around

Always liked this song from the early MTV days, when they played videos.

A catchy tune!

Boy, it takes me back. I was really into MTV - And it was so great....

You gotta start music appreciation from an early age.

My son is 19 and he loves it..

BananaRama and the crazy monkey

This song by British girl group Bananarama, was a U.K. number eight hit in 1983 and a U.S. Billboard Hot 100 number nine hit in 1984.

The music video features a take on the American TV show The Dukes of Hazzard, with a bumbling cop duo who chase the girls as they make their escape in a truck (at one point, Bananarama members throw bananas at a trailing police cruiser)

Let the music play on...

Good memories of a great childhood in the 80's...

I wish I could offer such a fun sweet and innocent childhood to my kids - instead of the new Hip-Hop staff ...

I remember someone played it as a wedding Song ... That was cool choice...

Lionel Richie is a legend... greatest Afro American singer alive...

Lay Your Hands On Me

The 80's was a time where music was written and sung from the heart first , paycheck second.

Someone in Youtube sensed that some of the dancers dressed up as many other 80s icons during the time. I spotted David Bowie (Blue Jean dress up), Grace Jones, Boy George, and I think Simon LeBon.

I love this lyrics :

Back and forth across the sea
I have chased so many dreams
But I have never felt the grace
That I have felt in your embrace
Oh I was tired and I was cold
Yeah with a hunger in my soul
When it almost seemed too much
I see your face
And sense the grace
And feel the magic in your touch

Poor old Jhonny Ray - 'Come On Eileen'

The singer Jhonny Ray from the 50's is the one they singing at in the beginning of the song...

I remember the great TV series 'Happy Days' ,which in one episode a heavy teen boy and girl were dancing to this at the end of the episode.

John Alvin Ray (January 10, 1927--February 24, 1990) was a chronic alcoholic, in 1990 he died of liver failure in Los Angeles at the age of 63

Sadly we will never see talent like this again....

After all these years , there is full of fresh energy and fun listening...

Gold - You're Indestructable

I used to love this song as a teenager.

Nice song even in 2010!!

I used to say to my kids that the 80s produced total classic bands like Duran Duran, Wham and Police.

There is still good music out there, you just have to find it...

Out Here On My Own - I dry the tears I never show

I remember when this was a smashing hit in the 80's that made EVERYONE cry...

Pop music used to be cool back then...

Some guy made a cover of it - COOOOL thing ever...

Cooler than Justin Bieber...

Mike Posner sounds like Justin Bieber...

Posner sounds a little bit 80's - in this beaytiful track.

Alive and Kicking

This nice one from Simple Minds takes me back to a good time , when music was pure ...music.

I was just entering high school at the time that one was a smashing hit.

At first it sounds to me like U2 song - yet it is great Simple Minds.

What you gonna do when things go wrong?

What you gonna do when it all cracks up?

What you gonna do when the Love burns down?

What you gonna do when the flames go up?

Who is gonna come and turn the tide?

What's it gonna take to make a dream survive?

Who's got the touch to calm the storm inside?

Who's gonna save you?

Eyes Without a Face

This takes me back to the "solid Gold" days when i would sit in front of the TV just mesmerized by billy idol on this video and how much I was in love with him.
Without a doubt, Billy Idol's best song!
This is one of those songs that take you back to a part of my childhood.
