Dancing in the Streets
Real masterpiece.
The original track is by Martha and the Vandellas.
Back in the 80's Mick Jagger & David Bowie renewd it - to be No. 1 hit of 1986.
This happy, groovy song really took me high those days...
Nice to remember.

Poker Face - New Hit by GaGa
GAGA is a performance artist, and a lot of people don't get that - they take an artist literally when there are several different levels that artist is operating on.
It's different and not mainstream, but then again David Bowie's act wasn't mainstream back when he was doing glam rock - he brought it into the mainstream - much like what she's doing. "Starstruck" is a very radio-friendly little tune.

David Bowie & Mick's Jagger Hair

Back In 1963, David Bowie saw the Rolling Stones open for Little Richard .
He recalled that show and someone heard him say:
He recalled that show and someone heard him say:
"The Stones were so funny. They had, like, only four fans at that time who rushed down the aisles to the front. These four chicks in the front there.. It was so funny..
"And some guy - I'll never forget this - some guy in the audience looked at Mick Jagger and said :
'Get your hair cut!'…
And Mick shouted back:
'What, and look like you?'
It was so funny! We just collapsed in our seats!"
