The Shadows - Apache

The Shadows are an English instrumental and vocal rock and roll group from the 50's .

"Apache" is an instrumental written by Jerry Lordan.

It has been recorded by many artists, but the first released version was recorded by British group The Shadows in June 1960 and released the following month.

The song topped the UK singles chart for five weeks.

Early tour in Israel ,1973...

The Audience singing "Hevenu Shalom Aleichem" as a jesture for legendary Leonard Cohen to come back to the stage...

Cohen's first performance in Israel was in the middle f 1973 Arab-Israeli war.

While on tour he performed for Israeli troops in the Sinai Desert, coming under fire.

In fact the band got a mention in the movie 'PulpFiction' when Jools said :
"hey flock of seagulls where is the shit" ..refering to the dude with the seagulls haircut..
