Timeless. I remember I bought the cassette "Feline" while studying in Paris.
The first time I heard this song I was walking through the city, in the rain, Stranglers pumping through my Walkman.

It's the first time I heard Neil's version but it is very good like Ub40.

Thompson Twins were a British Pop group that were formed in April 1977 and disbanded in May 1993.
They achieved considerable popularity in the mid-1980s, scoring a string of hits in the UK, the U.S. and around the globe.

The band was named after the two bumbling detectives Thomson and Thompson in Hergé's comic strip, The Adventures of Tintin.

This song plays with the band's name, Thompson Twins, which are the Thompson and Thompson detectives found in Tintin cartoons so of course it's supposed to be like a children's song.
I'd still pay for a Thompson Twins reunion ...
